OLD HOUSE WITH VIEWS OVER THE ROLLING HILLS OF UMBRIA!

 Description

3 Double Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, Livingroom with Fireplace, Large Kitchen, Pool!

We would be glad to welcome you in our old rustic house from the 18th century. Here the ancient materials such as stone and wood have been carefully preserved over time! Imagine that a stay in our home will make you feel like in journey back to the past!
The interiors are furnished with great taste and simplicity, respecting the style and charm of the place where it is located. The fields of olive trees and vineyards surround the property and their perfumes are carried by the wind.
The house is composed 3 spacious and comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, 1 studio space, 1 large living room with fireplace and a large well equipped kitchen. All kinds of comforts are available in the Villa: Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, toaster etc...
The pool is located in an upper part of the large garden. Here, over the house level, you can enjoy a wide and beautiful view over the countryside during a refreshing bath. We also tried to give a new life to the old barn next to the pool: now it is used as a beautiful patio covered with climbing plants where you will be able to cool off, have some snacks and have fun playing Table Tennis or Table Football
This is the ideal destination for all types of holidays, family, friends, romantic ...
The magic of a candlelight dinner on the terrace with the enchanting panorama that opens onto the terraces of olive trees and vineyards of the valley will remain in your memory as a unforgettable moment! We bet it!

Our family of 6 spent a week here and we had a wonderful time. The photos and descriptions are very accurate. It's clean, tidy, well maintained, and comfortable. We took our time to cook wonderful meals, swimming in the pool, and exploring the small towns in the area but were also close enough to head in to Rome for a day. We are definitely planning on returning. Amelia is a charming place and we recommend it to anybody wants to enjoy a relaxing vacation!

Stayed here for 9 days with friends and two small children. We had a really great time and were very pleased with the house, not least the pool area, where we spent many hours. We had very good communication with the owners before arriving, and the house was clean and cozy with good facilities. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

We had a great time and the property had one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen!!! The owners welcomed us with wine, olive oil, and orange marmalade all made from produce grown on the property! There are lemon trees and fresh herbs for use. Also the nearby towns of Amelia and Fornole are great. Also it is a one hour drive to most important cities in Southern Umbria and even closer to Terni.

The house is away from the main road down on the side of a hill on a private driveway. The house is beautifully old, and has plenty of kit to keep you going on a self catered holiday. 3 comfortable rooms with fans and two bathrooms which is great! The best part about the house is he balcony/terrace where the dining table is - the view from here is wonderful! Gets the sun first thing in the morning then is shaded for meals thereafter. The pool and pool house are about 30meters up a pathway set on a platform again with the most wonderful views over the valley, and the pool feels like an infinity pool with the views. There is a converted barn that acts as a pool house which provides shade while being by the pool which is amazing. The hosts were wonderful and left us some lovely local produce, and they were helpful. Definitely recommending this villa to everyone we have spoken to since and will return in the future. It is very rustic and simple, nothing flashy - my perfect dreamy holiday. The photos truly don't do the views or pool area justice!

This was a very nice villa. It's location on the side of the valley allowed for amazing views across the region of Umbra. The elevation of the pool, up a small path, added to the visual experience. The property was in the style of an old farmhouse but was very comfortable, although a couple of areas could do with some updating it did not detract from our enjoyment. Do note that the property is only accessed from a very steep gravel and concrete road, as a UK driver something I am not used to, but after a couple of trips in and out I soon got the hang of it, don't left this put you off. This is amazing property for those who want to leave their busy life behind and enjoy the quiet splendor of Umbria

Rustic and peaceful Thanks for a wonderful holiday. The house was everything we wanted - peaceful, secluded and with beautiful views. Lots of homely touches and we really appreciated the thought in getting some supplies for us seeing as we had just flown in from Australia. A beautiful region with lots of wonderful places to visit locally.

Beautiful Rustic Farmhouse in the country side We loved our week in this lovely little home! The salt water pool was perfect, the setting among the olive groves was beautiful. We enjoyed exploring the Hill Towns of Umbria and cooking at home in the evenings. Charming retreat away from the busy cities.

Antique Farmhouse with wonderful view s The title tells the story. There are many good reasons to choose this rustic adequately equipped house; its location, setting on the steep hillside, swimming pool and good number and size of rooms. However some investment is necessary to bring it up to standard. A number of electrical sockets are coming out of the wall and one in the front bedroom is broken. The small bathroom requires attention where water from the shower has penetrated wall by the window from the shower and a properly fitting bath plug provided. The bedrooms are good in size, with cupboards and drawers and the beds were comfortable. The fly screens were adequate but the fitting needed attention as gaps allowed access to the ravenous mosquitoes. The kitchen and dining room are well equipped with the choice of eating inside or outside on the excellent veranda. The fridge however struggled to chill it's contents and seemed to leak. The sitting room had TV etc as listed but were not used and the chairs were good in number, but with the settees being scruffy. The owners were welcoming, house cleaning was done mid week as was the pool. The garden was neat and attractive. The house was easy to find with sat nav but the drive from the main road to the house very steep and twisting.requiring full concentration. As a base it is an excellent location to explore southern Umbria and easily accessed from Fuimincino in Rome. So there is much to commend but with not necessarily expensive investment, it could be a gem.
