This wonderful apartment is located in Via Giulia, one of the most beautiful streets of Rome. It is the ideal accommodation for families as well as for couples. If you want to stay in a cosy, well-organized apartment in the heart of the city, this is the ideal solution. Recently renovated and furnished with a touch of typical Roman elegance, this beautiful apartment is located on the 2nd floor of an ancient palace from the 16th century: The Palazzo Pamphilj Lecca di Guevara! The building is controlled by a doorman and hosts a beautician business available for guests. The flat is composed in this way: a spacious and comfortable living room, two large single sofa beds, a TV and a CD player; a large room with a double bed; a niche with 2 single beds, a bathroom with bath and bidet; a very well organized kitchen. The apartment is equipped with an independent heating sistem and air condtioned. There is also a free internet WiFi connection.

Our aim is to make you feel at home without being worried about running in a supermarket after a long journey. That's why you will be welcomed with basic food!

If you are curious and you want to discover the secrets of Roman cuisine, its ingredients, its history, we will be at your disposal for a real “food tour” to explore the markets, the butchers, the fish shops, the fresh pasta laboratories and the wine shops amongst the most popular of the capital. We could then prepare and cook together the traditional dishes of our city. A nice way to learn something new and enjoy real home-made dishes!

A Palace that whispers the story of a street once populated by merchants and craftsmen of 1500! A cosy and warm apartment! The chance to travel back in time walking in the lively streets of the neighborhood. The starting point to discover the most beautiful city of the world!

This lovely apartment is located in Rome, in the prestigious Via Giulia, just a few steps from Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona and all the wonders of the old centre.
Via Giulia was designed by Pope Julius II. It was the first attempt since antiquity to pierce a new thoroughfare through the heart of Rome and the first European example since antiquity of urban renewal. Via Giulia runs from the Ponte Sisto to the church of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini, following the tight curve of the Tiber. It became the most fashionable street of the city in the sixteenth century turning out to be the favoured of the bourgeois and of the Florentine community. Today it is one of Rome's elite shopping streets, noted for its antique shops. The street is part of the Rione Regola (Regola District) very famous for his past commercial and craft activities.
Just look at the names of the streets: Via dei Pettinari, Balestrari ,Giubbonari Catinari, Baullari,…imagine the manufacturers and suppliers, butchers, tanners, dyers and millers. Even today this industry survives in some historic workshops, mixed with art galleries and trendy shops!
The central location of the house allows you to discover a large number of activities and places of interest just walking. Within a 20 minutes walk you will be able to admire the most important historical and archaeological sites of the city. The area is well served by public transport, restaurants with typical Roman gastronomy, as well as Italian and international cuisine, supermarkets and open air markets. For our young guests we recommend “Trastevere” area, distinguished by bars, pubs and clubs of all kinds.

We can propose you a pickup service at the airport with a private car. We will be glad to offer you this opportunity to reach our apartment!

Fabrizio B. - 10/09/2014

The apartment is very elegant, super central and well managed. Me and my girlfriend had a very nice time in Via Giulia. We hope to come back in Spring time!

Christiane M. - 10/09/2014

That real estate mantra sure fits this apartment. Well furnished with period pieces, decoratively painted like some walk-in fresco; beautiful building. As you leave by the front door, look to your right at the Farnese Archway, built to a design by Michelangelo as we found out. Around the corner is Campo de' Fiori. Market by day; hotspot for the neighborhood as a meeting, eating, and fun area, by night. One night there was even a political rally followed by a rock band. The opposite end of the street leads directly to the Ponte S. Angelo [appears in the film "Angels and Demons"] which brings you to the front gate of Castel Sant' Angelo. The Vatican is around a kilometer further down the road. What a great choice for a place to stay!

Maryann K. - 10/09/2014

A very spacious and comfortable apartment in a historic building located in central Rome. We were easily able to walk to all the sites we wanted to see, and enjoyed being out of, but close to many of the tourist sites in Rome. Would definitely stay there again if we ever get the chance to visit Rome again.

Gabriel S. - 10/09/2014

The apartment is exactly as in the photos! Elegant, tastly furnished, clean! We had a really nice vacation taking advantage of the super central position of the flat. In 10/15 minutes walking you can reach almost all the interesting spots of old Rome. The Via Giulia itself is amazing! Thanks to our host for the pasta, the sauce, the coffee and the tea that we found when we arrived the first day. We will be back

The listing description was accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities... The property was clean and well-maintained and the owner was very nice and kind lady. We enjoyed our stay in Rome and in the apartment. I would recommend this lovely apartment on amazing location next to Campo del fiori to everyone who would like to stay in city center of Rome and reach everything by foot. It's perfect accommodation for families or 5 even 6 friends to stay together.

This was a great find. Incredible neighborhood, wonderful apartment, a perfect home for a Roman holiday. Since we were traveling with another couple, this place suited their needs perfectly, and they were well taken care of by Tiziana. In addition we were able to spend ample time in the surroundings of such a beautiful apartment.

Dana Z. - 13/05/2015

The apartment was in a very good location . Tiziana was a terrific host with many ideas and suggestions on where to go and eat. The apartment is well appointed with 2 twin beds and 1 double bed . Large living area and lots of natural light. Kitchen is fully equipped !The apartment did get some street noise at night after 11 pm but this is not unusual for the center of Rome so if you are extra sensitive it could be an issue. Great time ! We will miss Rome !

Xintian L. - 13/05/2015

Very beautiful place. This apartment is behind a square but it is peaceful. The only drawback is that the two bedroom has no door.

Hanna S. - 13/05/2015

The apartment was perfect for exploring Rome. Excellent location, beautiful house, kind and helpful doorman, fully equipped kitchen with dish washer and a relaxing bathroom with bathtub and even a laudry mashine. The apartment was very nicely decorated, styled as an old palace library combined with comfortable couches and good beds. We stayed with our little son, and he had the best time enjoying the spacious apartment. The taxi service from the airport worked very well and we could even check in early on the day of arrival. The contact to the owner and our check in manager was always positive, they were all very helpful, kind and charming. Next time in Rome, we will definately stay in this apartment again!

Rosalind G. - 02/06/2015

We had a wonderful stay in Rome at this lovely apartment! The location was fabulous, very convenient to most sights as well as Campo de' Fiori, Trastevere and Piazza Navona for wonderful dinner and gelato choices. We walked almost everywhere and caught buses or tram 8. Apartment was just as pretty as the photos. Via Giulia is quiet, safe and so pretty. We slept well and enjoyed the big living room. We did not cook but kitchen was equipped. Tizianna met us to let us in and was very friendly and helpful in every way. We arrived at Termini and took bus 40 to Chiesa Nuova stop as host suggested. If you do this, walk a few blocks east when you get off the bus, then turn right (south) and walk down and through Campo de' Fiori to get to Via Giulia. Wonderful place!

Joanne D. - 01/09/2015

Our family of four stayed in this Via Giulia apartment for two nights and it more than met our expectations: we loved it. The apartment was clean, comfortable and beautiful and its location is perfect: a picturesque street with a real neighborhood feel and within walking distance to most sites. Moreover, everyone we dealt with through Charme Holidays was extremely friendly and helpful. We hope to return soon!

Elizabeth S. - 01/09/2015

We loved staying at this apartment while we visited Rome for the first time. It is on a beautiful street with easy access to many sites, including the Campo de' Fiori (about 3 minutes) - a lively square with many restaurants and a daily market with the best fruit and vegetables; Trastevere neighborhood (charming streets and great restaurants); and the Castel Sant'Angelo and Vatican. We are a family of five, with three teen-aged boys, and the space worked well for us. It is four flights to the apartment, which didn't bother us since we walk a lot and are in good condition. The kitchen was outfitted with everything one would need to prepare a meal. Nadia, the owner, was very friendly and pointed out suggestions for transportation and sites. Gabriel, who we initially booked with on Homeaway, always answered my emails promptly and arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport. We would love to visit Rome again - three days was not enough! - and we would definitely recommend this home! Elizabeth

Renate M. - 23/09/2015

We stayed one week in this lovely place. Very strategic location, close to Campo de Fiori for breakfast and Trastevere for dinner. Via Giulia is sometimes a very quiet street, very typical Roman with a very typical neighborhood with small shops and even local craft producers such as guitar builders, carpenters, basket makers. You don't expect it in such a cosmopolitan city as Rome. Excellent restaurants and a small supermarket complete the ideal location. The apartment itself is on the second floor and you can reach it by a lift. The rental procedure was uncomplicated, Tiziana and Gabriel were very friendly, our questions were answered immediately and we felt very welcomed. The charming part of the apartment is the very personal touch, as if the owner just left. If you really have some time to read there is more than efficient material to do so. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bed is comfortable, and as the September in Rome was really hot, we appreciated the AC very much. We will come back one day, that's for sure!

Giulio S. - 09/11/2015

Giulio"

Jake J. - 10/11/2015

Loved the location! This apartment was the perfect location for all the sights in Rome. We walked everywhere and never had to take a bus or taxi. Charge Holiday even helped us to arrange a car to pick us up at the airport. There is a great coffee shop 1 block away that was our morning ritual. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Comfortable for us and our 2 kids that loved the small area with 2 twin beds for them. We would stay here again!
